Tec-Slip™ Precision line of dry film lubricant coatings are highly engineered, refined and formulated for use in very sensitive environments such as clean rooms, electronics, and optic assemblies.
Tectorius family of dry film lubricants (also known as solid film lubricants) offers a specialized subset of products for highly sensitive applications. The TEC-SLIP PRECISION LINE are coatings developed with high tech applications in mind. These grades have been specifically formulated to provide custom levels of lubricity, in varying conditions, while minimizing objectionable content, byproducts and particles. The Tec-Slip Precision Line provides clean, worry -free, consistent assembly and movement while meeting most standards for health, safety and the environment.
This group of products has been developed to eliminate or minimize presence of even trace amounts of certain compounds, elements, and ions, providing a pure, dry, contaminant free coating. Silicone, alkalies, halides, fluorides, amides, amongst others, have been mitigated all while particle shedding and outgassing are kept to a minimum.
Examples of special grades include applications that require nominal K factor variation, low particle, low emission environments such as in clean rooms, electronics and optic assemblies. The Tec-Slip Precision Line is tuned to deliver consistent statistical performance from assembly to assembly, while enhancing corrosion protection.
The majority of Tec-Slip products are water based for safer handling, application and are environmentally kind. Typically low viscosity, Tec-Slip products are easily applied by multiple techniques including immersion, dip-spin, dip-drain or spray methods. In instances where different rheology is beneficial, our Tectorius team is ready to deliver a custom grade that most suits your unique criteria.
