Maelstrom Chemical Technologies, LLC, operating the Tectorius® brand ("Tectorius,""we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our website at tectorius.com (the"Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have regarding your personal data.

This Policy applies to all visitors, whether you are a prospective customer, existing account holder, or general visitor to our Site.

1. Information We Collect

1a. Information you provide directly

When you submit our contact form or purchase request form, you may provide the following information: full name, business or personal email address, company name,  shipping location or business location, product name and requested quantity, application details or additional notes, information about how you heard about us, your message, inquiry, or purchase request. We do not collect payment information, government identification, or any special categories of sensitive personal data through our Site.

1b. Information collected automatically

1. When you visit our Site, certain information is collected automatically through the tools described below:
Google Analytics 4. Usage data such as pages visited, time on page, referral source, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (country or region level), collected via GoogleAnalytics 4.
2. Mouseflow. Session behavior data including mouse movements, clicks, scroll depth, and page interactions, collected via Mouseflow. Mouseflow may record visual replays of your browsing session on our Site. Mouseflow does not capture passwords, payment fields, orother sensitive form inputs.
3. Cookies. Cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 4 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To respond to your inquiries and provide the information or samples you have requested.
To process purchase requests, provide quotations, arrange fulfillment or shipping, and communicate regarding product availability or order-related matters.
To send transactional or follow-up communications related to your inquiry, using EmailOctopus.
To analyze and improve our website performance, user experience, and content relevance (via GA4 and Mouseflow).
To understand how visitors discover and navigate our Site in order to improve our marketing efforts.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We use shipping and quantity information solely for the purpose of evaluating and fulfilling purchase requests, preparing quotations, and coordinating product delivery.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited personal data with the following third-party service providers who assist us in operating our Site and communicating with you. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it for the purposes we specify. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA / UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction subject to GDPR or equivalent data protection law, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
1. Legitimate interests. Legitimate interests for website analytics (GA4) and session analysis (Mouseflow), to improve our Site and understand visitor behavior. Our legitimate interest does not override your rights; you may object to this processing at any time (seeSection 7).
2. Consent. Consent where we rely oncookies or tracking for which consent is required under applicable law, we will seek your consent before such cookies are placed. You may withdraw consent at any time.
3. Contractual necessity. Contractual necessity to process and respond to your inquiry submitted via our contact form.

Important for EU visitors: Mouseflow involves the transfer of behavioral data, which may include indirect identifiers. If you are an EEA resident, you have the right to object to this processing. See Section 7 for how to exercise this right.

6. International Data Transfers

Our service providers, including Google Analytics 4, Mouseflow, and EmailOctopus, may process data on servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions outside your country of residence.

For transfers from the EEA or UK to the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted by the European Commission, or we work with providers who have implemented equivalent transfer mechanisms. By using our Site and submitting your information, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred and processed in these locations.

7. Your Rights

Right of access. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification. You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure. You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Right to restriction. You may request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Right to object. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including session recording by Mouseflow.
Right to portability. You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

These rights apply to EEA and UK residents under GDPR, and may apply in part to California residents under CCPA and to Canadian residents under PIPEDA. Residents of other jurisdictions may have similar rights under local law.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address provided in Section11. We will respond within 30 days, or within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data submitted through our contact form for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter to manage our business relationship, generally not exceeding 3 years unless a longer period isrequired by law or ongoing business necessity.

Analytics and session data retained by Google Analytics 4 and Mouseflow is subject to the retention settings configured within each platform, and to each provider's own data retention policies.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Site is intended for business-to-business (B2B) audiences and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

Continued use of our Site after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
