Tec-Eize™ thread lubricants and anti-seize compounds are a group of materials specially designed for fasteners and components to reduce friction, increase job efficiency, and facilitate installation and removal processes over extended periods and harsh conditions.
Tec-Eize™ is engineered for mass pre-application onto fasteners, fittings, and components in manufacturing environments where installation occurs later and on-site application is not possible or ideal. Available in multiple grades with varying lubrication levels, compositions, and application methods, Tec-Eize™ supports a broad range of substrates and fastener types. Formulations are available as solvent-based liquids or semi-solids with adjustable viscosity and can be applied using multiple methods or in a molten state for maximum throughput. If you don’t see the product you are looking for, Tec-Slip™ dry film lubricant coatings may offer more appropriate pre-applied lubrication options for your application. Tec-Eize is also considered a dry film lubricant extended service
Primary Usage: Anti-seize, lubrication, and friction reduction for fasteners and components
On Part ShelfLife: Indefinite
Medium: Solvent-based liquid or semi-solid
Viscosity: Adjustable for varying part sizes and application requirements
Performance, Advantages and Benefits
Installation Efficiency: Reduces installation effort by up to 75%, improving assembly speed, reducing tool wear and ensuring later removability.
Wear, Noise & Assembly Performance:Minimizes surface wear, eliminates torquechatter, and reduces squeak and rattle in assembled components.
Anti-Galling Protection: Preserves the ability to remove and disassemble at a later time.
Flexible Formulations & Application: Available in multiple grades with varying lubricity, compositions, and application methods, including liquid, semi-solid, and molten processes. Suitable for polymer, copper, aluminum, nickel, and other component materials.
Extended Shelf Life:Provides long-term stability with indefinite on-part shelf life.
What fastener types is Tec-Eize™ designed for?
Tec-Eize™ issuitable for parts and threaded components of all types, including fasteners, clips, springs, guides, and assemblies used on galling-prone materials.
CanTec-Eize™ be applied in bulk at a manufacturing facility?
Yes. Tec-Eize™ is specifically designed for mass pre-application at point of manufacture. It can be applied as a solvent-based liquid using conventional tumble, dip, or spray equipment, or in a molten state for maximum application speed.
Does Tec-Eize™ have an indefinite shelf life once applied?
Yes. Tec-Eize™ offers extended, indefinite shelf life once applied to parts, making it suitable for fasteners that are coated well ahead of assembly operations.
Is Tec-Eize™ suitable for stainless steel and aluminum?
Yes. Anti-galling protection is one of the primary functions of the Tec-Eize™ product family. Both metallic grades (630, 631, 632) and the non-metallic grade (633) are effective on gall-susceptible substrates including stainless steel and aluminum.
What is the difference between Tec-Eize™ and Tec-Slip™?
Tec-Eize™ is a wet or semi-solid lubricant and anti-seize compound applied in liquid or molten form. Tec-Slip™ is a dry film lubricant coating. For applications where a dry film solution is preferred or where wet lubricants are not appropriate, Tec-Slip™ may be a better fit.
